Hello Tuesday kids!


Last Tuesday we studied vocabulary to describe people. Here are the words we were studying:

tall
short
thin
fat or heavy
old
young
fast
slow
strong
week

We use these words with the verb to be: is or are when we describe a person or some people that are not here.

 Some people are tall and some people are short.


We also study words to describe people's hair: color, size, shape for hair on our head. And other types of hair, or having no hair. Or how we comb our hair.

red hair
black hair
gray hair
long hair
short hair
curly hair
wavy hair
straight hair
bold
pony tail
pig tails
beard
mustache

To talk about somebody's hair we use the verb have got:
My sister has got long straight hair.
