Don't forget: Today we have a class. It's our last lesson for the course!
It's the summer and we are ready for a vacation. You all did a very good job with the play. Congratulations!
Today we'll be watching stories and playing games.
What's your favorite fairy tale? My favorite fairy tale is Pinocchio. What's Pinocchio about?
It's about a wooden puppet.
There is an old man in the story.
The wooden puppet has many adventures.
Those are clues: they tell you a little bit about the story so you can guess the story.
HOMEWORK
Choose your own story and write 3 clues.
There are many stories you can choose from: Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White and the 7 dwarfs, Hansel and Gretel, The Princess and the Pea, The Three Little Pigs, The Beauty and the Beast, and so on.
Here is a link to a video with fragments of fairy tales: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPc05lcrkdQ
Welcome to our new course. Students in this group are: Sergio Justo, Gonzalo Collado, Rubén Molina, Olivia Ortal, Nuria Martín, Irene Ariza and Luis Salido.

Last Tuesday students had a test, which was hard work.
Next week we´ll be doing the play. So here I want to remind everybody what they need to bring.
First, everybody needs to wear a costume:
For the girls it is eady because they can look just like regular girls. But we need a basket for the picnic.
Rubén and Gonzalo, the Alien Vampires need to brink some face crayons (colors to paint their faces). For clothes bring anything you think is good for an alien vampire. Do you have any other costumes: A cape? Something shiny? And you need to bring a weapon: a gun or something.
Same thing for Sergio, the Police Officer, see if you can find a hat and something that can be similar to a uniform: black trousers, leather jacket? And, of course, a gun.
HOMEWORK
Listen to the song. Then, write 5 professions and say what they do. Example: A dentist keeps your teeth clean and white. http://learnenglishkids.britishcouncil.org/es/songs/people-work

Hi!
Yesterday re were going over vocabulary, Here is a list of words you must learn and know how to spell:
Verbs:
brush
cook
do
have
make
paint
read
tidy
watch
Adjectives
big
curly
friendly
naughty
smart
straight
strong
tall
short
House tasks or chores

At the end of the lesson we were playing a board game. We have played many times. And yet, some students cannot distinguish between Present Simple and Present continuous. I know it is a bit difficult but you are young and clever and only have to pay a little attention.
Present Simple ( it is simple, it is only 1 word) We use it for actions we repeat in time: we do them usually, always, never, everyday, etc.
Example:
I make my bed everyday
or
My mother doesn't cook at the weekends
Present Continuous: (2 words: am, are or is + verb+ing) We use it for actions we are doing now, today, at this moment, this morning, tonight, etc.)
Example
Now, I am writing the blog for C5.
Today, the C5 children are not coming to the English School because it is Wednesday.
HOMEWORK
1. Study the words.
2. Go to the link and do the exercises. By the way, this is the Present Simple, we use for routines.http://www.englishexercises.org/makeagame/viewgame.asp?id=6234
